Yvonne Barrie Quartet

The Yvonne Barrie Quartet is a professional and truly international group, with members originally hailing from Scotland, Japan and the USA. First formed in 2017, the YBQ play music by artists not usually associated with the jazz repertoire, such as Radiohead and Leonard Cohen. They also impart their unique jazz stylings into songs from Scottish and English folk traditions.

Husband and wife team Yvonne and Bruce often display a unique interplay between vocals and sax on stage, and the band never fails to please audiences with their arrangements!

The YBQ regularly perform for corporate events and functions at venues around Hong Kong, including the HK and Lantau yacht clubs, St Regis, Swire and Sky 100. They are also often to be found performing at club venues such as Silva Records, FCC and Pizza Express. RTHK recently invited the band to be featured on their arts programme “The Works”.
