Trombone Nomad 是一個新成立的長號四重奏，致力以獨特編制探索爵士音樂的多種可能。樂團受歐洲創新長號四重奏 Vertigo Trombone Quartet 及傳統爵士 a cappella 樂團啟發，重新詮釋爵士經典曲目，並透過原創編曲，發掘長號四重奏所特有的聲響、音色與質感。

強調長號的表現力，塑造溫暖而現代的和聲層次，以及低音銅管合唱般的聲部結構，建立出高度辨識度的樂團音色。這種編制對技術精準度與團隊合作有極高要求，也使音樂更清楚呈現曲式結構、緊密互動，以及書面編曲與即興演奏之間的平衡。樂團由來自澳門的爵士長號演奏家黃永豪領導，成員皆為受過專業爵士訓練的香港長號手，嘗試以集體聲響思維拓展爵士演奏的聆聽方式。

是次演出將邀請 特邀主唱 Adrianna Tang 參與，與長號四重奏共同演繹重新編排的爵士標準曲及廣東流行曲。透過人聲與銅管之間的呼應與層次配置，熟悉的旋律得以在不同聲響結構中被重新組織，呈現一場既植根於爵士語彙、亦貼近本地聆聽經驗的現場演出。

Trombone Nomad is a newly formed trombone quartet exploring jazz through an unconventional ensemble format. Drawing inspiration from innovative European trombone quartets such as the Vertigo Trombone Quartet, as well as traditional jazz a cappella groups, the ensemble revisits jazz standards through original arrangements that foreground the distinct sound and texture of four trombones.

Emphasizing the trombone’s expressive range, the group builds warm, contemporary harmonic layers and a chorale‑like lower‑brass foundation, creating a clearly defined ensemble sound. This instrumentation demands a high level of precision and close collaboration, bringing musical form and the balance between written material and improvisation into sharp focus. Led by Macao‑born jazz trombonist Wong Wing‑ho and made up of professionally trained Hong Kong trombonists, Trombone Nomad approaches jazz through a collective sonic perspective.

For this performance, the quartet is joined by featured vocalist Adrianna Tang, presenting newly arranged interpretations of jazz standards alongside Cantonese pop songs. Through the interaction between voice and brass, familiar melodies are reshaped within a restrained yet distinctive sonic framework—rooted in jazz language while remaining closely connected to the local listening context.
