【Jazz Future: Tjoe x Bowen Li】 移居英國的吉他手回港表演

Tjoe，這個名字相信對於五年前已經有留意本地爵士樂的朋友，應該十分熟悉。當年由他發起的樂隊NTBM (Not To Be Missed)，活躍於香港各表演場地，並推出黑膠唱片。

2020年移居英國發展音樂事業後，藉着創新的演奏風格，不斷獲得與當地音樂單位合作的機會，包括PYJAEN, Brown Penny, Mama Sutra, Orii Community & Orii Orchestra.

而小編上一次留意到Tjoe的發展，便是看著名YouTube系列NPR Tiny Desk時候，在Elmiene 的一集看到Tjoe演奏的身影！之後才知道，原來Tjoe加入成為Elmiene 世界巡迴樂隊一員。 

此次回港，他將會連同本地樂手兼CODA老闆之一Bowen Li，作一場duo演出。他們將會以jazz standard為出發點，但從中發展出新的段落，甚至進入free improvisation。喜歡留意爵士樂手之間即興互動的你，一定要來！

Tjoe回港只有寥寥數天，所以這次演出真的是Not To Be Missed！

Tjoe is a name that should be familiar to those who have been following the local jazz scene for the past five years. He initiated the band NTBM (Not To Be Missed), which actively performed at various venues in Hong Kong and released vinyl records.

After relocating to the UK in 2020 to further his music career, Tjoe has gained numerous opportunities to collaborate with local music entities, thanks to his innovative playing style. He has worked with groups such as PYJAEN, Brown Penny, Mama Sutra, Orii Community, and Orii Orchestra.

The last time I noted Tjoe's development was while watching the renowned YouTube series NPR Tiny Desk, where I spotted him performing with Elmiene. I later learned that Tjoe had joined Elmiene's world tour band.

During his return to Hong Kong, Tjoe will perform a duo concert with Bowen Li, one of the local musicians and co-owners of CODA. They will start with jazz standards but will develop new sections and even venture into free improvisation. If you're interested in the improvisational interactions among jazz musicians, this is an event you should not miss! 

Tjoe's time in Hong Kong is limited, so this performance is truly Not To Be Missed!
