【Jazz Future: Timothy Wan Quartet】跨越世代的爵士對話

香港資深色士風演奏家Timothy Wan將於CODA Jazz Kissa帶領三位年輕樂手，呈現一場純正的爵士音樂會。這場演出將以經典爵士標準曲為主軸，展現爵士樂最本真的魅力。

Timothy是台灣色士風品牌TK Melody的簽約音樂人，畢業於紐西蘭奧克蘭大學爵士樂系，bebop演奏功底深厚。此次他特別邀請三位來自翻騰學院 Fountain Academy 的畢業生同台演出，包括鋼琴手Isaac Lee、低音大提琴手Evette Chiu及鼓手Jefferey。Timothy作為翻騰學院的主要導師，在是次演出中師徒同台，既體現了爵士樂的傳承精神，也展現了香港爵士新世代的實力。

演出曲目將致敬傳統搖擺標準曲，亦會演出Timothy自己編寫的contrafact，以及Isaac的編曲。在CODA這個以黑膠文化為特色的場地裡，觀眾將能感受到經典爵士樂的醇厚韻味，以及硬波普風格的生命力。這不僅是一場音樂表演，更是一次跨越世代的爵士對話。

Esteemed Hong Kong saxophonist Timothy Wan will lead a trio of emerging musicians at CODA Jazz Kissa for an evening dedicated to the essence of jazz. The performance will center on classic jazz standards, showcasing the genre’s most authentic spirit and timeless appeal.

An endorsed artist of Taiwanese saxophone brand TK Melody and graduate of the University of Auckland’s jazz program, Timothy is renowned for his deep grounding in the bebop tradition. For this special performance, he invites three graduates of Fountain Academy—pianist Isaac Lee, double bassist Evette Chiu, and drummer Jefferey—to share the stage. As a principal instructor at the academy, Timothy embodies jazz’s ethos of mentorship and continuity, highlighting both the tradition’s resilience and the rising talent of Hong Kong’s new generation of jazz artists.

The program will include classic swing standards, original contrafacts by Timothy, and arrangements by Isaac Lee. Within the intimate, vinyl-centric ambiance of CODA, audiences will experience the rich tonal heritage of straight-ahead jazz and the vital energy of hard bop. More than a performance, this event represents a meaningful dialogue across generations—an exchange of ideas, techniques, and inspirations that reflects jazz’s enduring evolving language.
