The Gurrling 是一位以香港為基地的創作歌手，她的音樂以細緻的質感與淡然的敘事見稱，經常從日常書寫與私人筆記出發，將哀傷、盼望與愛等反覆出現的情感，以帶有民謠氣息的旋律與直白而富詩意的詞句呈現。她的歌曲不追求宏大，而是以小幅度的情緒轉折讓聽者逐步走入她建構的內在世界。此次演出中，她將由長笛手 Wyn、鼓手 Mason 及特別嘉賓 Mr Koo 伴奏，讓民謠基底加入爵士、古典與藍調的細節，使作品帶有更開放的聲音層次。

特別嘉賓 Mr Koo（Ollie Andrew Koo Rodgers）以其帶有懷舊色彩的創作而聞名，早期靈感源自海岸與夏日意象，近年的作品則延伸至對都市生活與情感經驗的觀察。他的音樂融合 soul、blues、bedroom pop 與 funk，營造出柔軟、略帶朦朧的聲音質地。本次與 The Gurrling 的合作，將使兩人的敘事風格產生新的連結，在不同音樂語彙之間找到自然的交會點。

The Gurrling is a Hong Kong-based indie singer-songwriter whose ethereal music draws you into a world of folklore and fairytales. Drawing inspiration from her journal entries, her original songs explore the recurring themes of grief, hope, and love through poetic and beautifully raw lyrics. Accompanied by Wyn on the flute, Mason on drums, and a special appearance from Mr Koo, The Gurrling brings a jazz, classical, and blues twist to her folk songs. 

Mr Koo is the alias of Ollie Andrew Koo Rodgers. His music originally inspired by hot sandy beaches, explores aspects of life in the modern world, touching on themes of woozy love and deep layers of nostalgia. He is influenced by soul, blues, bedroom pop and funk, creating a nostalgic sound of summer.
