愛情如同即興爵士，充滿了不可預期的變奏與複雜的情感層次。這場名為「Taste of Love」的音樂會，將由三位風格各異卻同樣擅長敘事的音樂家——作曲家兼鋼琴家Chris Cheung、歌手Yan Ip，以及大提琴家Eric Yip——透過音樂，展開一場關於愛的情感探索。

作曲家與鋼琴家Chris Cheung畢業於伯克利音樂學院，音樂創作跨越配樂與現場演出，曾參與配樂包括電影《釀魂》、《源生罪》，劇場作品《罪與罰》、《100%香港》等。他亦以鋼琴家的身份活躍於舞台，包括參與Dimension Plus的多媒體作品《維度漫步》，以及於上海林肯爵士樂中心與融合樂隊First Eat Pepper演出等。

歌手Yan Ip學生時期曾於多個歌唱大賽獲獎，並得到作曲人賞識擔任樣本歌手。她的歌聲充滿質感和故事性，更獲得女版「玉置浩二」的高度評價。她於2025年舉辦了第一次的個人音樂會《Love across time》演繹多首古今中外的流行曲作品。其後，她在香港駐美國經濟貿易辦事處的贊助下，前往鹽湖城猶他大學演唱流行廣東歌，作音樂文化交流。

Eric Yip的大提琴演奏充滿感染力，其音色觸動人心。作為香港其中一位最活躍的大提琴家，經常在國內外作獨奏或室樂演出，最近更受邀在美國南猶他州音樂節中擔任獨奏並教授大師班和擔任比賽評判。他分別擔任羅曼四重奏、LENK四重奏、維多利亞三重奏和香港小交響樂團的大提琴手，亦是演藝學院青年音樂課程和教育大學的大提琴老師。

愛情從來不只是一種味道，而是一場五味雜陳的即興演奏。有蜂蜜般甜膩的縈繞，檸檬般尖銳的酸楚，烈酒般灼熱的辛辣，也有黑咖啡般沈鬱的苦澀。三位樂手希望透過演譯和改編不同風格的作品，帶領觀眾走進由爵士樂編織的情感迷宮。讓我們在變幻的節奏與深邃的旋律中，找回屬於自己愛情故事的每一個音符，以音樂治癒心事的皺摺。

Love is like an improvised jazz piece, full of surprises and layered emotions. “Taste of Love” brings together three distinct musical storytellers—composer‑pianist Chris Cheung, singer Yan Ip, and cellist Eric Yip—for an intimate exploration of love through sound.

Berklee‑trained Chris Cheung writes for film and theatre, while remaining active as a live performer. Singer Yan Ip, praised as a female counterpart to Koji Iwasaki, has won multiple competitions, held her first solo concert in 2025, and brought Cantonese pop to the University of Utah in a cultural exchange.

Cellist Eric Yip is one of Hong Kong’s most active performers, appearing as soloist and chamber musician worldwide and recently featured at the Southern Utah Music Festival as soloist, masterclass tutor, and judge. He performs with the Roman Quartet, LENK Quartet, Victoria Trio, and Hong Kong Sinfonietta, and teaches at leading music institutions.

Love is never just one flavor—it can be as sweet as honey, sharp as lemon, burning like liquor, or bitter as dark coffee. Through reinterpreting and reshaping works in diverse styles, these three musicians invite the audience into a jazz‑infused maze of emotions, where shifting grooves and deep melodies help listeners rediscover every note of their own love stories.
