以尺八、次中音薩克斯風、低音貝斯與爵士鼓構成的「尺八四重奏」，是一支打破文化疆界的獨特爵士組合。四名樂手以非凡的音樂洞察力，將東方美學的空靈深邃與爵士樂的即興精神完美交融，創造出既具禪意哲思又充滿現代能量的聲景體驗。  

尺八的蒼涼音色穿梭於薩克斯風的醇厚旋律中，彷彿一場跨越千年的東西方對話；低音貝斯與爵士鼓則鋪陳出兼具穩固與彈性的節奏基底，讓傳統爵士標準曲目與原創作品同時煥發當代生命力。樂團不僅重新詮釋經典爵士曲目，更巧妙融入日本傳統音樂元素，並透過原創作品展現文化交融的無限可能。

The "Sum Shakuhachi Quartet" stands as a singular ensemble in the jazz world, weaving together the haunting tones of the Japanese shakuhachi flute, the resonant warmth of the tenor saxophone, the grounding pulse of double bass, and the dynamic rhythms of jazz drums.
