【Jazz Signature: Scott Murphy Trio】 首次合作且風格迥異的組合

Scott Murphy，一位定居香港已久，來自蘇格蘭的色士風演奏家、作曲人及樂隊領隊。熟識他的朋友都知道他對爵士樂的鑽研十分深入，跟他閒聊時他十分樂於分享最近探索的演奏方式，或近來最愛聽的新專輯。

自2018年移居香港以來，Scott 曾與多位葛萊美獎得主、全球知名的爵士藝術家及流行音樂人合作，包括與鼓手 Kendrick Scott、薩克斯風手 Will Vinson、貝斯手 Janek Gwizdala 的錄音及演出，並參與了張敬軒、林子祥、RubberBand 樂隊、Billy Ocean 等音樂人的項目。

吉他手Teriver不需多介紹，樂隊R.O.O.T成員之一，同時發表過多張爵士樂專輯，音樂足跡遍佈全球各地。而鍵琴手Bowen亦為本地爵士普及計畫Fountain de Chopin共同發起人，亦為CODA老闆之一。儘管三人於本地爵士樂圈活躍已久，但此次為三人首次共同演出！他們將會演繹各人的原創作品，以及以互動的方式，演奏一首首各位熟悉的爵士標準曲。

Scott Murphy is an accomplished saxophonist, composer, and bandleader from Scotland, who has established his residence in Hong Kong. Colleagues and friends recognize his profound commitment to jazz, and he is always willing to share insights about his recent performance techniques and favorite albums during discussions.

Since relocating to Hong Kong in 2018, Scott has collaborated with numerous Grammy Award winners and internationally acclaimed jazz artists, including drummer Kendrick Scott, saxophonist Will Vinson, and bassist Janek Gwizdala. His portfolio also includes projects with distinguished musicians such as Hins Cheung, George Lam, RubberBand, and Billy Ocean.

Guitarist Teriver is well-known as a member of the band R.O.O.T and has released several jazz albums, showcasing his talent globally. Additionally, keyboardist Bowen is a co-founder of the local jazz group Fountain de Chopin and is one of the owners of CODA.

While all three have made significant contributions to the local jazz scene, this performance marks their first collaboration. They will present their original compositions and engage in an interactive format, performing a selection of familiar jazz standards.
