本地資深鼓手Samuel Chan，即將聯同鍵琴手Jezrael Lucero與低音結他手Sylvain Gagnon——在CODA帶來一場以爵士標準曲（Jazz Standards）為主軸的三重奏演出。這個組合相當新鮮，三位音樂家將以互動、對話的方式，呈現他們對經典曲目的當代詮釋，風格取向讓人聯想到Keith Jarrett Standards Trio與Chick Corea Trilogy。

陳衍光是本地最活躍的爵士鼓手之一。他早年畢業於香港教育學院音樂系，師隨著名爵士鋼琴家Ted Lo，其後考取獎學金赴紐約The Collective School of Music深造，師從Peter Retzlaff、Ian Froman、Kendrick Scott等大師級鼓手。回港後，他經常與包以正、羅尚正、張駿豪等本地爵士大師同台，亦曾與Eric Marienthal、Laura Fygi等訪港國際級樂手合作演出及錄音。

Jezrael Lucero是現居香港的菲律賓爵士音樂家，天生完全失明。他的音樂風格橫跨爵士、流行、騷靈、拉丁及古典，曾與林憶蓮、方大同、鍾一諾等音樂人合作。

Sylvain Gagnon是來自加拿大的低音結他手，能同時駕馭低音大提琴與電低音結他，曾參與張學友世界巡迴演唱會（146場），並曾與Eugene Pao、Joey Calderazzo、Jeff "Tain" Watts、Bob Mintzer等國際知名樂手合作。

Veteran Hong Kong drummer Samuel Chan will team up with keyboardist Jezrael Lucero and bassist Sylvain Gagnon for a jazz standards trio performance at CODA. This is a fresh combination, with the three musicians engaging in interactive, conversational takes on classic repertoire—evoking the spirit of Keith Jarrett’s Standards Trio and Chick Corea’s Trilogy.

Samuel Chan (陳衍光) is one of Hong Kong’s most active jazz drummers. He graduated from the Music Department of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, studying under renowned jazz pianist Ted Lo, and later earned a scholarship to The Collective School of Music in New York, where he trained with masters such as Peter Retzlaff, Ian Froman, and Kendrick Scott. Back in Hong Kong, he regularly shares stages with local jazz luminaries like Eugene Pao, Simon Lo, and Teriver Cheung, and has performed and recorded with international visitors including Eric Marienthal and Laura Fygi.

Jezrael Lucero is a Filipino jazz musician based in Hong Kong, born completely blind. His style spans jazz, pop, soul, Latin, and classical; he has collaborated with artists such as Sandy Lam, Khalil Fong, and Yannick Ng.

Sylvain Gagnon, from Canada, is a bassist proficient on both double bass and electric bass. He performed on Jacky Cheung’s world tour (146 shows) and has worked with Eugene Pao, Joey Calderazzo, Jeff "Tain" Watts, and Bob Mintzer.
