Rit Xu是一位新加坡獲獎長笛音樂家，於2014年榮膺NFA爵士樂家競賽冠軍，成為首位獲此殊榮的東南亞音樂家。作為楊秀桃音樂學院榮譽畢業生，Rit穿梭於音樂廳與爵士酒吧之間。他深受爵士樂手的啟發，並善於長笛家族中的各種樂器，挑戰長笛在古典樂之外的界限。

自2011年嶄露頭角以來，他與各爵士樂團在亞洲多地演出，為爵士樂手Jeremy Monteiro伴奏，及為樂隊Lorong Boys一員。在創作上，Rit 9歲起已為各界錄音，並在獲獎電影《塞德克 · 巴萊》中獨奏長笛。

這位年輕才俊將於12月12日與新加坡著名鋼琴家兼風琴手Chok Kerong演出，帶來獨特的爵士樂。

Rit Xu is a Singapore-based award-winning musician, gaining international acclaim for his lyrical and introspective flute performances. He won the NFA Jazz Artist Competition in 2014, becoming the first Southeast-Asian to achieve this honor. An honors graduate from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory, Rit seamlessly navigates between concert halls and jazz clubs. He constantly pushes the flute's boundaries beyond classical traditions while utilizing various members of the flute family.

Since emerging in the Singapore jazz scene in 2011, he has collaborated with jazz orchestras and played across Asia. Additionally, he plays an integral role with jazz icon Jeremy Monteiro and the viral group Lorong Boys. Rit has recorded for various projects since the age of 9, and played all flute solos in the award-winning film Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale. 

A young and talented flautist, he will be playing with well-known Singaporean pianist/organist Chok Kerong on 12 Dec.
