Nicholas Bouloukos 是一位橫跨多個音樂語境的鋼琴家與作曲者。這位希臘裔美國音樂人長年活躍於國際舞台，曾於 Montreux Jazz Festival 鋼琴比賽嶄露頭角，之後在爵士、世界音樂及流行音樂之間往返自如。無論是與 Roy Hargrove、Eddie Palmieri 等爵士名家同台，或擔任 Dee Dee Bridgewater、Laura Fygi 的音樂總監。近年定居雅典，Nicholas 的創作亦逐漸融入希臘音樂元素，形成個人鮮明而內斂的語彙。

是次演出，Nicholas 將與本地樂手 Nelson Fung及 Samuel Chan合作，三重奏將選奏 Horace Silver、Wayne Shorter、Thelonious Monk 及 Chick Corea 等作曲家的經典作品，同時帶來 Nicholas 的原創曲目，以及受希臘音樂啟發的 “GrecoNubian” 系列創作。這類作品通常在節奏、旋律裝飾及調式運用上帶有地中海色彩，並與現代爵士語彙自然交織。對熟悉傳統曲目的聽眾而言，這樣的編排既保留辨識度，也提供重新聆聽的角度；而原創部分則呈現出音樂家持續發展中的個人聲音。

Nicholas Bouloukos is a pianist and composer who works across multiple musical contexts. A Greek-American artist active internationally, he first gained recognition at the Montreux Jazz Festival Piano Competition and has since moved fluidly between jazz, world music, and pop. He has performed with artists such as Roy Hargrove and Eddie Palmieri, and served as music director for Dee Dee Bridgewater and Laura Fygi. Now based in Athens, his recent work increasingly incorporates elements of Greek music, shaping a distinct and understated voice.

For this performance, Nicholas joins local musicians Nelson Fung and Samuel Chan. The trio will present works by Horace Silver, Wayne Shorter, Thelonious Monk, and Chick Corea, alongside Nicholas’s originals and his Greek-inspired “GrecoNubian” pieces, blending Mediterranean elements with a modern jazz language while offering fresh perspectives on familiar repertoire.
