本地年輕鋼琴手Matthew Chan將聯同他的四重奏，在CODA帶來一場以現代爵士為主軸的音樂會。演出曲目涵蓋他的原創作品，以及當代融合爵士代表人物Robert Glasper與鋼琴家Brad Mehldau的創作，意圖在Neo-Soul的律動與ECM風格的沉靜質感之間，尋覓聲音的平衡點。

Local young pianist Matthew Chan will lead his quartet in a modern jazz concert at CODA. The program includes his original compositions as well as works by key contemporary fusion artists Robert Glasper and Brad Mehldau, aiming to find a subtle balance between the groove of Neo-Soul and the tranquil textures of the ECM aesthetic.

Together with electric bassist Chun, drummer Jerry Kan, and guitarist Bobo, Matthew brings together musicians active across Hong Kong’s diverse music scenes, each with broad performance experience. Their collaboration will explore new possibilities of rhythm, harmony, and spatial depth within the language of contemporary jazz.
