【Jazz Signature: Lucas Fixel Trio】 來自巴西的資深爵士鼓手

Lucas Fixel 是一位來自里約熱內盧的鼓手、教育家與作曲家，於13歲從教會音樂與森巴音樂中開始他的生涯。

他17歲起在西班牙渡過了五年，教授、表演和編製音樂。畢業於里約熱內盧州聯邦大學 Unirio，並在西班牙向 Paco Charlín 和 Abe Rábade 學習爵士樂。他在2015年發行專輯 Rebentação，籍此獲得了 BNDES 劇院最佳新藝術家獎。

作為教育者，他曾在 Batebatuke Festival、Candido Mendes University、Örebro University與 Unirio 開設工作坊，同時亦創辦了非洲巴西打擊樂學校 "Prucupá" ，著手教授森巴與巴伊亞區文化。

Lucas 曾與 Edson Lobo、Logan Richardson 和 Paco Charlín 等知名藝術家同台演出，並在 NF Winter Festival（巴西）與 Pontevedra Jazz Festival（西班牙）等國際音樂節大展拳腳。

Lucas將聯同本地著明爵士音樂人Patrick Lui 和 Scott Dodd，帶來受巴西音樂影響的爵士樂！

Lucas Fixel is a percussionist, educator, and composer, who began at 13 playing church music and in samba circles, which sparked his professional career. 

By 17, he was teaching percussion in Spain, where he spent five years as a musician, teacher, and arranger. A graduate of Unirio, Lucas studied jazz under Paco Charlín and Abe Rábade. He released Rebentação in 2015, winning the BNDES theater award for Best New Artist.

He has taught workshops at Batebatuke Festival, Candido Mendes University, Örebro University and Unirio. He is the founder of the Afro-Brazilian percussion school "Prucupá", focusing on samba traditions and Afro-Bahian culture.

Lucas has performed with artists like Edson Lobo, Logan Richardson, and Paco Charlín, and played in festivals such as NF Winter Festival (Brazil) and Pontevedra Jazz Festival (Spain).

With local icons Patrick Lui and Scott Dodd, Lucas will be livening up CODA with his samba spirit!
