Leumas Lo's musical journey began with a foundation in classical music, later expanding to explore diverse genres such as rock, funk, and R&B. These experiences gradually coalesced into his unique understanding of jazz, shaping his versatile musical language.

This performance is rooted in classic jazz repertoire, with Leumas Lo joining forces with double bassist Sam Tsang, pianist Yat Chow, and drummer Joe Chan to form a quartet that reinterprets these works through a contemporary lens. Rather than seeking to replicate the originals, the ensemble aims to engage in a dialogue with past melodies through present-day musical sensibilities.
