【Jazz Signature: Keith Wong x Eric Chong】Tribute: From Nat King Cole to Mark Murphy

當代爵士樂壇少見的聲樂科班音樂人Keith Wong，總能在即興音符與劇場敘事間找到迷人平衡。

這位2022年自荷蘭海牙皇家音樂學院爵士聲樂系畢業的歌手，將留歐期間汲取的多元養分化作專輯《纏》。大碟充滿著時而是正統爵士的即興火花，時而又化作合唱劇場的敘事張力。

2022年斬獲阿卡中國蜂巢獎「年度最佳原創音樂」的肯定，翌年更同時獲得香港藝術發展局與荷蘭Sena Performers基金挹注，這組罕見的「雙認證」恰如其分地標記著他遊走於東西音樂語境的獨特座標。

5月17日晚，Keith將重新演繹Nat King Cole至Mark Murphy等爵士男歌手的經典作品，並分享這些跨越時代的爵士聲線如何滋養他的創作養分。

特別值得期待的是，他將與同為荷蘭音樂體系培養的爵士結他好手Eric Chong歷同台。兩位新生代音樂人的對話，勢必碰撞出既承襲爵士傳統、又具當代視野的藝術火花。

Award-winning vocalist and composer Keith Wong is renowned for blending jazz traditions with choral and theatrical influences. 

The Hong Kong native, trained at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, was honored with the Best Original Music of the Year at the Beehive Music Awards (2022). Supported by the Sena Performers Fund (Netherlands) and HK Arts Development Council, he released his debut album Intertwined (2024).

On the evening of 17th May, Wong presents a tribute to jazz legends Nat King Cole and Mark Murphy, exploring their influence on his original works. 

He is joined by guitarist Eric Chong, also a Netherlands-trained jazz virtuoso for an evening of refined artistry.
