【Jazz Future: Ka Ming Trio】將Jazz融合R&B、Funk & Rock 的Trio組合

Ka Ming曾到紐約接受著名導師訓練。音樂風格涵蓋爵士樂、放克、流行音樂、搖滾、藍調和拉丁音樂。

他曾在香港的多個地方表演，包括香港電台、香港機場、香港外國記者會、M+博物館、荃灣大會堂、香港中文大學利希慎音樂廳、藝穗會、Visage One、留白Livehouse、Allure Music Salon、Sense 99、Chez Trente和翻騰三周半。他亦是臺中中西爵士大樂團的成員，並在台南一日音樂節上表演。

由 Ka Ming、Vinc 和 Sing 組成的三重奏，將以Groove為基礎，把爵士樂融合R&B、Funk 和搖滾。受啟發來源的音樂人包括Nate Smith、Robert Jospe 、Robben Ford、Marcus Miller和Kenny Wheeler的音樂。

他們亦以這些風格的編曲來演奏傳統爵士樂曲目，為大家帶來一個律動感強及耳目一新的演出。

Ka Ming Law is a Hong Kong-based drummer who has trained with renowned mentors in New York. His musical style spans jazz, funk, pop, rock, blues, and Latin music.  

Ka Ming has performed at numerous venues across Hong Kong, including RTHK, Hong Kong International Airport, the Foreign Correspondents' Club, M+ Museum, Tsuen Wan Town Hall, Lee Hysan Concert Hall at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Fringe Club, Visage One, Lau Bak Livehouse, Allure Music Salon, Sense 99, Chez Trente, and Fountain de Chopin. He is also a member of the Taichung Cross-Strait Jazz Big Band and has performed at the Tainan One-Day Music Festival.  

The trio formed by Ka Ming, Vinc, and Sing blends jazz with R&B, funk, and rock, rooted in strong groove-based arrangements. Their inspirations include musicians such as Nate Smith, Robert Jospe, Robben Ford, Marcus Miller, and Kenny Wheeler.  

They also reinterpret traditional jazz standards with these styles, delivering performances that are both rhythmically engaging and refreshingly innovative.
