【Jazz Signature: Justin Siu x Kelly Yau】爵士對話的二次藝術重塑

猶記上回Justin與Kelly在CODA的音樂邂逅，以大提琴破格採用吉他彈奏技法，與女聲即興對話，創造出超越常規配器的詩意聲景。兩人的音樂互動既充滿實驗精神，卻又不失細膩優雅，這般妙想天開的器樂對話，已然成為樂迷津津樂道的經典時刻。

低音提琴手Justin Siu其藝術足跡橫跨澳門、韓國等國際音樂節，2018年推出的首張專輯《SPIN》更創下連續六週蟬聯HMV爵士榜冠軍的紀錄。而新銳女聲Kelly，則展現了當代爵士歌者的多元面貌。在Visage One、翻騰三周半等音樂場地的演出中，她既能精準駕馭爵士樂的複雜和聲，亦能自在遊走於流行與R&B的聲域邊界。

本場音樂會將以現代視角重溯爵士人聲的百年演進，精選自1920年代以降橫跨世紀的聲樂作品——從成為爵士標準曲目的時代巨作，到2025年甫發行卻鮮為人知的驚艷新聲。透過當代音樂語彙的重新詮釋，勾勒出爵士人聲藝術的時光脈絡。

此次二人再度聯袂，將帶來經過沉澱與深化後的音樂對話，值得期待一場更具深度的藝術碰撞。

One still vividly recalls Justin and Kelly’s last performance at CODA—a musical encounter where the cello, played with guitar-like techniques, engaged in improvisational dialogue with the female voice, crafting a poetic soundscape that transcended conventional instrumentation. 

Bassist Justin Siu, whose artistic footprint extends to international festivals in Macau and South Korea, made a remarkable impact with his 2018 debut album SPIN, which topped HMV’s jazz chart for six consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, emerging vocalist Kelly embodies the versatility of the contemporary jazz singer. At venues like Visage One and Fountain de Chopin, she demonstrates not only technical mastery over jazz’s complex harmonies but also fluid adaptability across pop and R&B.

This concert will trace the evolution of jazz vocals through a modern lens, featuring works from the 1920s to present day—from timeless standards to little-known yet stunning new releases as recent as 2025. Reinterpreted through a contemporary musical vocabulary, the program aims to illuminate the historical arc of vocal jazz artistry.

Now reunited, Justin and Kelly bring a more profound and polished musical dialogue, promising an evening of deepened artistic resonance.
