鋼琴家Joyce Cheung與音樂劇演員Margaret Cheung，將在CODA展開一場難得的跨界合作，為觀眾帶來一個融合爵士、流行與劇場音樂的夜晚。

Joyce Cheung是本地備受矚目的鋼琴家、編曲家與作曲家。活躍於不同舞台的她，近年推出的原創專輯《The Études》更榮獲第36屆金曲獎演奏類最佳專輯獎，展現其將練習曲概念轉化為精緻室內樂作品的創作力。

Margaret Cheung則是資深本地音樂劇演員，曾獲提名第20屆香港舞台劇獎最佳女配角（喜劇/鬧劇），並多次與香港小交響樂團演出大型音樂會，並獲該樂團邀請舉辦個人音樂會《My Technicolor Childhood》。演唱風格橫跨音樂劇與流行，亦曾為葉德嫻、林憶蓮、容祖兒等歌手擔任和音，並在2024年推出了個人翻唱專輯《Directions》。

這場演出將呈現多元的曲目選擇：既有經典的爵士標準曲（Standards），也有經重新編曲的廣東流行曲，更會選唱本地音樂劇中的精彩選段。兩位音樂人將以鋼琴與人聲為核心，透過爵士的即興語彙與劇場的敘事感染力，在熟悉的旋律中開拓出屬於兩人的聲音。

Pianist Joyce Cheung and musical theatre actress Margaret Cheung will present a rare cross-genre collaboration at CODA, offering audiences an evening blending jazz, pop, and theatrical music.

Joyce Cheung is a prominent local pianist, arranger and composer. Active across diverse stages, she recently released her original album ‘The Études’, which won the Best Instrumental Album at the 36th Golden Melody Awards, showcasing her creative ability to transform the concept of études into refined chamber music works.

Margaret Cheung is a veteran local musical theatre actress, nominated for Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the 20th Hong Kong Drama Awards. She has performed in numerous large-scale concerts with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and was invited by the orchestra to present her solo concert My Technicolor Childhood. Her vocal style spans musical theatre and pop genres. She has provided backing vocals for artists including Deanie Ip, Sandy Lam, and Joey Yung, and released her personal cover album “Directions” in 2024.

This performance will feature a diverse repertoire: classic jazz standards, reimagined Cantonese pop songs, and highlights from local musicals. Centered around piano and vocals, the two musicians will blend jazz improvisation with theatrical narrative power, carving out their unique sound within familiar melodies.
