年僅24歲的曹啟晉，是近期備受矚目的新生代薩克斯風手。他畢業於伯克利音樂學院，主修爵士演奏與電影配樂雙學位，並曾獲校內Andy McGhee獎學金肯定。畢業後他迅速投入本地演出，亦曾於上海、韓國、新加坡等地表演。2025年推出的個人專輯《Daydreamer》更獲得樂界好評。

低音提琴手Nelson Fung，則是香港樂壇不可或缺的中堅力量。他活躍於爵士、實驗與古典等多重領域，既是「香港爵士教父」Ted Lo三重奏成員，也是爵士推廣組織Fountain de Chopin的共同創辦人。他同時參與流行音樂演出，與9m88、麥浚龍、岑寧兒等歌手合作，其演奏兼具穩健的爵士底蘊與靈活的跨界彈性。

本次演出的特別之處，在於他們將與一位來自紐約的結他新星進行整晚的合作。這位音樂家常駐紐約，以其獨特的聲音逐漸受到注目。他擅長將巴西音樂與搖滾樂的元素融入爵士框架中。他的加入，無疑將為這場三重奏注入一股國際化的新鮮感。

Some collaborations naturally bring new perspectives, and this one is bound to do just that. The ensemble, co‑led by saxophonist Jonas Cho and double bassist Nelson Fung, features a special guest—a rising guitar star from New York—for an evening that bridges generations and continents through jazz.

At only 24, Jonas Cho has emerged as one of Hong Kong’s most talked‑about young saxophonists. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with dual degrees in Jazz Performance and Film Scoring and recipient of the Andy McGhee Scholarship, he has performed across Shanghai, Korea, Singapore, and beyond. His 2025 debut album Daydreamer received strong acclaim for its lyrical tone and inventive compositions.

Nelson Fung is a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s jazz and pop scenes. As a member of Ted Lo’s trio and co‑founder of the jazz collective Fountain de Chopin, he is known for blending a solid jazz foundation with openness to experimentation. His collaborations span genres—from 9m88 and Daniel Ma to contemporary classical projects—showing his versatility and musical sensitivity.

Joining them from New York is an exciting young guitarist renowned for fusing Brazilian rhythms and rock textures within a modern jazz language. Together, the trio will explore both classic and original works, offering audiences an evening of rhythmic interplay, vivid improvisation, and inspired musical chemistry that celebrates jazz’s evolving spirit.
