在香港爵士樂壇舉足輕重的家族中，Carpio家族堪稱首屈一指。家族成員Bernard Carpio自幼受父親Tony Carpio及其知名樂團"The Tony Carpio Big Band"的熏陶，展現出非凡的音樂天賦。

這位才華橫溢的薩克斯風演奏家十歲開始學習長笛，十五歲轉攻中音薩克斯風。憑借出色的演奏技藝，他屢次獲邀在香港國際爵士音樂節、澳門爵士音樂節等重量級舞台獻藝，更曾為上海半島酒店開幕典禮助陣。

其演出足跡遍布全球，從菲律賓、新加坡到曼谷、上海，乃至印尼和美國等地的知名爵士俱樂部。合作過的流行歌手包括Kenny B、葉麗儀、光良、胡琳等樂壇知名藝人。

5月3日，Bernard將與本地炙手可熱的爵士鋼琴手Daniel Chu同台，以兩set精彩的爵士樂演出，為樂迷帶來充滿即興魅力的爵士之夜。

When discussing the most influential families in Hong Kong’s jazz landscape, the Carpio family undoubtedly stands at the forefront. Among their distinguished members is Bernard Carpio, a talented musician whose passion for music was ignited at an early age under the mentorship of his father, Tony Carpio, and his renowned ensemble, The Tony Carpio Big Band.

Bernard’s musical journey began with the flute at the age of 10, followed by the alto saxophone at 15. His exceptional talent has since led him to perform at prestigious events such as the Hong Kong International Jazz Festival, the Macau Jazz Festival, and the grand opening of The Peninsula Shanghai.

Additionally, he has graced stages at jazz clubs across the globe, including performances in the Philippines, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, Indonesia, and the United States. Bernard has also shared the stage with acclaimed pop artists such as Kenny B, Frances Yip, Michael Wong, and Bianca Wu.

On May 3rd, Bernard will take the stage alongside local standout Daniel Chu for two captivating jazz sets, delivering an evening of dynamic improvisations and unforgettable musical artistry.
