可能是香港唯一嘅法式吉普賽爵士(gypsy jazz)樂隊,Hot Club de Hong Kong為你呈獻上世紀三四十年代嘅巴黎韻味。

樂隊由結他手Simon Choi,Neil Lau、小提琴手Bob Pang、低音大提琴手Veronica組成。樂隊的演奏風格啟發自吉普賽爵士的奠基者強哥·萊哈特(Django Reinhardt),以三零年代的巴黎風格為基調,糅合美式爵士、拉丁節奏、甚至電影配樂及流行樂的元素,以原聲結他同小提琴演奏一系列的歐式爵士樂。

曾獲邀到香港多個標誌性的爵士樂場地演出;同時擅長營造氛圍感十足嘅音樂,為各類活動、場地注入精緻復古的歐陸情調!現時世界各地皆有以致敬強哥的Hot Club de France的Hot Club;Hot Club de Hong Kong致力在香港建立社群、普及吉普賽爵士樂、為本土音樂注入新完素。

The only active gypsy jazz band in town! Formed by Simon Choi, Neil Lau (guitarist); BobPang (violinist); and Vera Cura (double bassist). Hot Club de Hong Kong specializes in vintage 1930s–40s French gypsy jazz. Inspired by Django Reinhardt the father of gypsy jazz,the band adopts his arrangement styles and playing techniques to reinterpret a wide range of musical genres, from European traditional tunes to American songbooks, swing to bossa nova, and film music to pop.

They have been invited to perform at various iconic jazz venues across Hong Kong, showcasing the unique sound of gypsy jazz to the crowd. Also we excel at creating atmospheric music that adds an exquisite and retro European ambiance to events, banquets, and weddings. Hot Club de HK is dedicated to building a gypsy jazz community in Hong Kong and sharing the timeless beauty of European jazz.
