Geoff King Luk Trio

Geoff King Luk Trio 集結三位活躍於香港及國際舞台的音樂人，背景各異，卻在節奏、聲響與即興語言中建立起成熟而自然的默契，展現當代爵士三重奏的流動感與對話性。

結他手 Geoff King Luk 曾長期於芝加哥演出，深受爵士、放克、靈魂與融合音樂影響。移居香港後，他活躍於不同爵士與跨界項目，無論是實驗舞曲團 Noise Control，或以傳統編制演出的爵士三重奏，都能展現對音色層次、律動與空間的細膩掌握。他的演奏著重音樂走向與整體互動，而非炫技本身。

貝斯手 Jimmy Pittman 出生於芝加哥，自 2012 年定居香港後，成為本地備受信賴的節奏支柱。無論電貝斯或低音大提琴，他都以穩定音色與良好分寸感為樂曲奠定基礎，並在結構中保留即興彈性。

鼓手 Nate Wong 橫跨流行與爵士領域，成長於英國與美國，畢業於 Berklee College of Music。自 2014 年回港後，他累積了豐富舞台經驗，能在不同演出場景中靈活回應。

是夜，三位樂手將回歸爵士經典曲目，在熟悉的語彙中展開即時交流，重塑音樂的當下感。

The Geoff King Luk Trio brings together three musicians active on both the Hong Kong and international scenes, sharing a strong musical rapport built on rhythm, sound, and improvisation.

Guitarist Geoff King Luk spent many years performing in Chicago, shaped by jazz, funk, soul, and fusion. Now based in Hong Kong, he moves fluidly between experimental projects and traditional jazz settings with a strong sense of texture and groove.

Chicago‑born bassist Jimmy Pittman, based in Hong Kong since 2012, is known for his steady tone and stylistic flexibility on electric and upright bass.

Drummer Nate Wong, a Berklee College of Music graduate, bridges pop and jazz with precision and responsiveness.

For this evening, the trio returns to classic jazz repertoire, exploring it through collective interplay and spontaneous exchange.
