活躍於本地及海外舞台的年輕鼓手Edwin Cheung，即將在CODA帶來一場以節奏為核心的音樂會。Edwin的演奏融合了爵士、巴西、古巴及流行等多重元素，曾於香港、新加坡等多個音樂節演出，並累積了與不同國家樂手合作的豐富經驗。這次演出，他將透過精選的經典爵士曲目，展現他對拉丁節奏與當代音樂語彙的獨特理解。

為更完整呈現巴西音樂的風格底蘊，Edwin特別邀請來自澳門、深受Bossa Nova與巴西音樂影響的音樂人Bossa Eva共同演出。Bossa Eva的作品不僅源於對巴西音樂的熱愛，更尋求巴西當地音樂家編曲，其原創作品兼具地道的律動感與個人的創作溫度。

演出曲目將以經典爵士作品為基底，融入Edwin擅長的拉丁節奏改編，並穿插Bossa Eva與她的丈夫Sin的原創作品，在爵士的即興框架中，鋪展出一條從北美到南美的聽覺路徑。對於喜愛爵士樂的律動變化、或對巴西音樂溫暖質感有共鳴的聽眾而言，這將是一場兼具技巧與情感的節奏之旅。

Young drummer Edwin Cheung, active on local and international stages, is set to deliver a rhythm-centric concert at CODA. His performances blend jazz, Brazilian, Cuban, and pop elements, having graced music festivals in Hong Kong, Singapore, and beyond while accumulating extensive experience collaborating with musicians from diverse countries. For this performance, he will showcase his unique interpretation of Latin rhythms and contemporary musical language through a selection of classic jazz pieces.

To fully capture the essence of Brazilian music, Edwin has specially invited Bossa Eva, a musician from Macau deeply influenced by Bossa Nova and Brazilian music, to join him on stage. Bossa Eva's work stems not only from a passion for Brazilian music but also from seeking arrangements by local Brazilian musicians. Her original compositions blend authentic rhythmic sensibilities with a personal creative warmth.

The performance will feature classic jazz pieces as its foundation, infused with Edwin's signature Latin rhythm arrangements, interspersed with original compositions by Bossa Eva and her husband Sin. Within the improvisational framework of jazz, it will unfold an auditory journey spanning from North America to South America. For audiences who appreciate the rhythmic evolution of jazz or resonate with the warm textures of Brazilian music, this promises to be a journey of rhythm blending technical mastery with emotional depth.
