8月23日，CODA將迎來一場難得的演出，由資深吉他手Dan LaVelle、實力派爵士女聲Elodie Lee，將與低音提琴中堅Jimmy Pittman組成三重奏，在CODA Jazz Kissa帶來一場充滿默契的爵士盛宴。

LaVelle的音樂生涯始於12歲，從日本樂壇到香港流行音樂黃金時代，他不僅為多位粵語巨星創作，更與葛萊美獎得主Eric Marienthal等國際音樂人合作。其吉他演奏融合R&B、巴西音樂與爵士的精髓，堪稱活化石級的音樂寶藏。

而我會形容Elodie Lee的聲音為「天鵝絨般的質感」，她用人聲說故事的能力往往能夠把你吸引不停繼續聆聽。而Jimmy Pittman則是香港爵士場景中最堅實的低音提琴手之一。這位來自美國的樂手自定居香港以來，參與過無數演出，其沉穩的撥弦為無數音樂人奠定堅實基礎。

這場演出將呈現經典搖擺樂（Swing）的現代詮釋，巴西巴薩諾瓦（Bossa Nova）的浪漫風情以及三人即興互動的火花時刻，敬請期待！

On August 23rd, CODA Jazz Kissa will present a rare musical treat featuring veteran guitarist Dan LaVelle, accomplished jazz vocalist Elodie Lee, and steadfast bassist Jimmy Pittman in a harmonious jazz trio performance.

LaVelle's illustrious music career began at the age of 12. From his early days in Japan's music scene to Hong Kong's golden era of Cantopop, he has not only composed for numerous Cantonese pop stars but also collaborated with international artists including Grammy Award winner Eric Marienthal. His guitar playing masterfully blends R&B, Brazilian music, and jazz, making him a veritable treasure trove of musical artistry.

Elodie Lee's voice can best be described as having a "velvety texture," with a captivating storytelling quality that keeps listeners enthralled. Complementing the ensemble is Jimmy Pittman, one of Hong Kong's most reliable double bass players. Since settling in Hong Kong from the United States, this seasoned musician has participated in countless performances, his steady basslines providing a solid foundation for numerous artists.

The concert will feature contemporary interpretations of classic Swing, the romantic flair of Bossa Nova, and exciting moments of spontaneous interplay between the three musicians. An unforgettable musical experience awaits!
