Olivier Cong 是本地跨媒介音樂創作人，身兼歌手、作曲人及導演，2017 年創立 Raven & The Sea Music Production，致力推動音樂與數位媒體、實驗劇場及裝置藝術的跨界融合。是次演出，他將聯同唱作歌手及演員林愷鈴（Ashley Lin），一起向愛爾蘭創作歌手 Damien Rice 致敬。

Ashley 自 2018 年起已活躍於香港音樂圈，她的演唱風格與音樂語言，深受 Aretha Franklin、Jane Monheit 及 Esperanza Spalding 等音樂人影響。2024年更以唱作人姿態進軍樂壇，並勇奪叱咤樂壇生力軍女歌手金獎。Ashley的音樂創作靈感來自書本與電影，還有自身經歷，以及朋友的故事，甚至有時候在街上看到一些人和事，都會為她帶來啟發。

Rice 的作品橫跨民謠與室內樂領域，情感真摯而克制，從不依賴誇張的包裝。其音樂中的留白、脆弱感與現場即時性，一直是兩人共同重視的特質。這場演出正從他們對 Damien Rice 作品的共同聆聽經驗出發，重新演繹那些細膩而內斂的情感。

Olivier Cong is a Hong Kong–based interdisciplinary music creator, working as a singer, composer, and director. He founded Raven & The Sea Music Production in 2017 to explore collaborations between music, digital media, experimental theatre, and installation art. For this performance, Olivier joins singer-songwriter and actress Ashley Lin in a tribute to Irish songwriter Damien Rice.

Ashley Lin has in recent years focused on songwriting, drawing inspiration from reading, film, and everyday observation. Her music often approaches emotion through small, lived-in details, and her vocal sensibility is shaped by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Jane Monheit, and Esperanza Spalding.

Damien Rice’s work bridges folk and chamber music, marked by restraint, vulnerability, and a strong sense of immediacy. These qualities are shared points of reference for Olivier and Ashley, forming the basis of an intimate re-visiting of Rice’s songs in this performance.
