【Jazz Signature: Cyan Chan Quartet】用音樂紀錄《24小時制》的情緒流動

香港樂壇罕見既能執起低音大提琴沉吟，又能以人聲飄然吟唱的爵士女聲Cyan Chan，將率新晉四重奏重返CODA Jazz Kissa。本次陣容包括吉他手Chuen Lee、鍵盤手Yam Wong及鼓手Jerry Kan，既是一場朋友間私密的音樂旅程，更是一場以音樂對時間作感嘆的音樂會。

紮根古典訓練，淬煉於多年爵士演出現場，Cyan體現了兩種藝術人格的完美平衡：沉穩的低音線條鋪陳靈魂底韻，飄逸的聲線卻如透光薄紗般輕靈。此般藝術性曾獲西九自由爵士音樂節等舞台的專業認可，更促成與多位國際級音樂家的音樂交流。

音樂會核心將聚焦Cyan的全新原創組曲《24小時制》，以聲音繪製一日不同時辰的情緒質地與氛圍流變。每首作品皆如開放畫布，邀請聽眾沉浸於自身的故事與詮釋。演出亦將重新編排經典爵士標準曲，以當代律動與精妙編曲賦予新生。

Emerging as one of Hong Kong’s most distinctive dual-voice artists—jazz vocalist and contrabassist Cyan Chan returns to CODA Jazz Kissa with her newly formed quartet, featuring pianist Chuen Lee, keyboardist Yam Wong, and drummer Jerry Kan. This performance promises to be both an intimate musical journey and an innovative reimagination of time itself through sound.

With a foundation in classical training and a jazz sensibility refined through years of performance, Cyan embodies a rare duality: her resonant bass lines provide grounded, soulful foundations, while her vocals float with refined, almost translucent lightness. This balance has earned her critical recognition at venues like the WestK Freespace Jazz Fest and collaborations with internationally celebrated artists.

The centerpiece of the evening will be Cyan’s latest original series, “24-Hour Clock,” a conceptual work that sonically maps the emotional textures and atmospheric shifts of different hours within a day. Each composition serves as an open canvas, inviting the audience to immerse in their own interpretations and narratives. The program will also include creatively reimagined jazz standards, revitalized with contemporary grooves and sophisticated arrangements.
