8月30日，CODA Jazz Kissa將迎來一場別開生面的音樂會，由爵士鋼琴手Freeman與口琴演奏家CY Leo聯袂演出。兩位富表演經驗卻同時十分年輕音樂人雖出身背景不同，卻在音樂中找到獨特的默契，將為觀眾呈現一場跨越界限的爵士對話。

Freeman自幼學習古典鋼琴，後於劍橋大學深造期間轉向爵士樂發展。他的演奏融合古典的嚴謹與爵士的即興，近年活躍於香港爵士場景，曾與Ted Lo等資深音樂家合作，並參與自由爵士音樂節等重要演出。

CY Leo則是罕見的口琴奇才，十九歲時已兩度獲得世界口琴節冠軍，演出足跡遍及全球40多個城市。他既能與哈特福交響樂團合作古典曲目，也能與Cory Wong等爵士名家即興互動，展現口琴的多變可能性。

這場演出特別之處在於兩位音樂人的互動方式：Freeman的鋼琴為CY Leo的口琴提供豐富和聲基礎，而口琴的靈動旋律線條又啟發鋼琴的即興發揮。他們不需過多排練，往往一個眼神或幾個小節的互動，就能自然發展出完整的音樂段落。

這不僅是一場表演，更是兩位音樂人之間默契的見證。觀眾將有機會近距離感受，當爵士鋼琴遇上冠軍級口琴，會碰撞出怎樣的火花。

On August 30, CODA Jazz Kissa will present a distinctive musical encounter featuring jazz pianist Freeman and harmonica virtuoso CY Leo. Though coming from different musical backgrounds, these two exceptionally talented young performers have developed a remarkable chemistry, promising audiences a boundary-crossing jazz conversation.

Freeman began his musical journey with classical piano training before transitioning to jazz during his studies at the University of Cambridge. His playing elegantly blends classical precision with jazz improvisation. Having collaborated with Hong Kong jazz legend Ted Lo and performed at major events like the Freespace Jazz Festival, Freeman has become one of the city's most promising young jazz artists.

CY Leo represents a rare talent in the harmonica world, having won the World Harmonica Festival twice by age nineteen. With performances in over 40 global cities, he demonstrates remarkable versatility - equally comfortable performing classical repertoire with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra as he is improvising with jazz masters like Cory Wong.

The magic of this performance lies in their unique interaction: Freeman's piano provides rich harmonic foundations for CY Leo's harmonica, while the harmonica's agile melodic lines inspire spontaneous piano responses. Their connection runs so deep that often just eye contact or a few bars of musical exchange naturally evolve into complete musical passages.
