Kingston Lo 近年以融合電子聲響與現代爵士語言的創作逐漸受到本地樂迷關注。其音樂深受 Post Bop、Nu-Jazz 及近年英國爵士浪潮影響，從 Alfa Mist、Yussef Dayes 等音樂人的作品中汲取靈感，同時發展出屬於自己的聲音世界。不同於傳統鍵盤演奏方式，Kingston 習慣現場處理各種音色與效果，在演奏中自由變換聲響質感，並刻意保留大量空間讓樂手之間進行即興交流。其作品常遊走於靜謐與躁動之間，以細膩旋律展開，再逐步推向更開放而充滿張力的聲音景觀。

是次演出，Kingston 將聯同貝斯手 Kuma、鼓手 Gill Mok 以及色士風手 Timothy Wan 組成四重奏，節目將圍繞 Kingston 的原創作品展開，並特別呈現其2025 年末發行的首支單曲 《Bedlam Waltz》。音樂上可聽到當代 UK Jazz 的節奏思維、電子聲響的層次塑造，以及現代爵士即興的開放精神。

Kingston Lo has increasingly captured the attention of local audiences with his unique fusion of electronic textures and modern jazz language. Influenced by the sensibilities of Post-Bop, Nu-Jazz, and the contemporary UK jazz movement—drawing inspiration from artists like Alfa Mist and Yussef Dayes—Kingston has cultivated a distinct sonic world. Moving beyond traditional keyboard performance, he actively manipulates textures and effects live, embracing spontaneous shifts in sound while deliberately leaving wide-open spaces for improvisational dialogue. His compositions often traverse the spectrum between hushed introspection and chaotic intensity, starting with elegant melodies that gradually unfold into expansive, high-tension landscapes.

For this performance, Kingston will be joined by bassist Kuma, drummer Gill Mok, and saxophonist Timothy Wan. The quartet will focus on Kingston’s original compositions, with a special spotlight on his debut single, Bedlam Waltz, released in late 2025. The program promises a synthesis of contemporary UK jazz rhythmic sensibilities, textured electronic sound design, and the open-ended spirit of modern jazz improvisation.
